Me!I often describe myself as a “woman of many hats.” I’m a mother; the artistic director/founding member of an all-women Shakespeare company; lover of all things vintage; nerd; activist; Hufflepuff; and visual artist/digital illustrator. One might wonder how a single person can be all of those things at once—and when I find out, I’ll let you know. For now, I make it work with a wonderful support system and lots and lots of caffeine.
As a mostly self-taught artist, I’ve been drawing since I could hold a crayon in my chubby little toddler hand. I started using Photoshop at the age of 13 and never looked back. Although I graduated from Southern Utah University with a BFA in Classical Acting, my passion for creating visual art has remained a constant throughout my life. I love vibrant colors and making my world as beautiful as possible. I love creating art that will make people laugh or feel happy or empowered. I strive to represent women of all shapes, sizes, and colors in my art as I believe our differences are what make us beautiful. My life’s purpose is to empower women everywhere to fall in love with their most authentic selves. If this resonates with you hop on over to my shop to purchase a print or contact me for a commission. I’d love to work with you! |
FAQ's
Where can I purchase a print?
You can order a print by visiting my shop. My shop offers 11x17" prints for $35 with free domestic shipping. Feel free to contact me if you're interested in custom prints. How much do you charge for commissions? The base price starts at $35 for ToonMe commissions or $80 for standard commissions, but visit my Commissions page for a detailed price list. What is your process? After an initial idea pops into my head, I start with a whole lot of research to capture the right vibe. Next, I draw a series of sketches to get the image just right before finalizing the linework and color. All pieces are made digitally in Photoshop. How do I commission a piece from you? First, let's chat! Tell me what you're thinking and what elements you'd like your custom piece to include. After we come to an arrangement, I expect 50% of the final cost up front, and the remainder of the balance upon completion of the piece. If you prefer a payment plan, I can work with you on that! Get all the commission details on my Commission page. How do I pay you for your services? For a purchase on Etsy, you can pay with credit card or Paypal. For commissions I accept payment through Paypal or Venmo. Who's your favorite superhero? (To be completely honest, this question is really only asked frequently by my four-year-old child.)
